This 2023 Sauvignon Blanc opens with enticing aromas of crisp green apple and luscious stone fruits. On the palate, the wine unveils layers of wet stone minerality intertwined with white peach and refreshing lemongrass flavors. Balanced with bright acidity making this the perfect Sauvignon Blanc for all occasions.
Vineyard Notes
The vines in the five-acre Sauvignon Blanc block of Frediani Vineyards were planted specifically for Vermeil Wines in the days of Jeanne Frediani ( Jim Frediani’s mother and one-time matriarch of the family and business). The soil in that section of the vineyard is heavy, rich, and comprised mostly of bale clay loams that are perfect for this varietal.
